Maverick singer, Seun Kuti, has shed light on his involvement in the controversy surrounding Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan.
On Tuesday night, VeryDarkMan released a voice recording allegedly of Bobrisky claiming to have bribed EFCC officials with N15 million to drop money laundering charges.
Bobrisky also claimed he served his prison term in a lodge, not jail. However, Bobrisky denied the allegations on Wednesday morning, stating the recording was fake.
Seun Kuti disclosed during an Instagram live session that VeryDarkMan informed him about the recording and he encouraged him to expose Bobrisky. “I was the first person VeryDarkMan told about the story. I gave him the go-ahead to expose Bobrisky,” Kuti said.
In response to the allegations, the EFCC has invited Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan to its Lagos office for questioning. The commission aims to gather information and assist with the ongoing investigation into bribery allegations against its personnel.
The EFCC’s probe into the bribery allegations continues, with the invited parties expected to provide crucial information.
