The Chairman of the investigative committee, Senator Neda Imasuen, has presented the panel’s report at plenary, stating that Senator Natasha was found guilty of all allegations against her. He noted that she failed to appear before the legislative committee for a review of her conduct.

Senators are currently taking turns to debate the report, with possible amendments to the committee’s recommendations before final adoption.

The controversy began when Senator Natasha, representing Kogi Central, was referred to the committee over alleged misconduct following a confrontation with Senate President Godswill Akpabio over seating arrangements in the chamber.

The dispute escalated when Senator Natasha accused Senator Akpabio of sexual harassment and abuse of office, adding further tension to the matter.
