The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has initiated an investigation into allegations of bribery leveled against some of its officers by Nigerian socialite, Bobrisky.

In a viral video, Bobrisky alleged that unnamed EFCC officers collected N15 million from him to drop money laundering charges. The video was produced by Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan.

EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has constituted a team of investigators to probe the allegations. Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan have been invited to assist investigators at the EFCC’s Lagos Directorate.

The EFCC assured the public that the allegations will be thoroughly investigated and the findings made public. The commission remains committed to its core values of integrity, courage, professionalism, and collaboration.

The investigation’s outcome will be crucial in determining the truth behind these serious allegations.
